Situation
You are unable to open your desktop Outlook. The loading Window loads for a long time without progressing or the loading Window disappears after loading for a long time.
Solution
1. Go to Office.com from a web browser, sign in with your Office 365 credentials and click on the Outlook icon to launch your Outlook online.
2. Check the online Outlook to see if your emails are coming in.
3. If your online Outlook is receiving emails as per normal, try opening your desktop Outlook in safe mode.
4. In your desktop search bar, type Run and open the Run App.
5. In the Run dialog box, enter outlook.exe /safe and select OK.
6. In the Choose Profile window, choose the default Outlook option and select OK to open that profile.
7. After you have opened Outlook in safe mode, check for Office updates to be run and / or passwords to be entered.
8. Allow time for your desktop Outlook to load completely.
9. Once it shows "All folders are up to date", it means that Outlook has been loaded completely.
10. Close Outlook and launch it again without using safe mode.
11. If problem persists, contact your IT Support for help.
